Mini Stepper
How to adjust
- Adjust the resistance level via a dial on some hydraulic models.
- Adjust the band handle length if resistance-band handles are included.
How to use
- Stand on the two pedals, holding onto a wall, chair, or the included handles for balance.
- Press down alternately on each pedal in a stepping motion.
- Keep your core braced and avoid letting the pedals bottom out too hard.
- Finish by easing the pace over the last 2-3 minutes until both pedals come to a complete stop, keeping hold of your support and stepping off one foot at a time.
Safety notes
- Have a wall, sturdy chair, or the unit's handles within reach for balance before starting, since the small independent pedals can feel less stable than a full-size machine.
- Shaky legs, dizziness or chest tightness means slowing until the pedals stop, taking a firm hold of your support and stepping off one foot at a time — never hop off while the pedals are still moving, because the hydraulic cylinder springs the unloaded pedal back up.
- Step on carefully at a slow pace until you feel balanced.
- Keep the unit on a flat, non-slip surface.
