Seated Leg Curl Machine
How to adjust
- Adjust the seat position for your leg length so your knee joint lines up with the machine's pivot and the back of your knee sits right at the edge of the seat.
- Lower and lock the thigh restraint pad down just above the knees before starting.
- Adjust the front ankle roller position for your leg length, and select the weight with the pin.
How to use
- Sit with your legs extended nearly straight in front, resting the BACK of your ankles on top of the front roller, thigh pad locked down over your thighs.
- Exhale, curl the heels down and back under the seat.
- Inhale, extend back to the start position under control.
- If you run out of strength mid-set, let the legs extend slowly with the load until the stack settles, unlock the thigh restraint pad, lift it up, and only then slide your legs out and stand up.
Safety notes
- Lock the thigh restraint pad down before starting so the hips can't lever up under load.
- Do not hyperextend the knees on the return.
- Control the movement in both directions.
