Adjustable Cable Tower
How to adjust
- Slide the pulley up or down the column and lock the pin into the height slot suited to your exercise (chest height for pallof press, high or low for a woodchop).
- Select the attachment for the cable (single handle, rope, or ankle strap).
- Select the weight using the pin on the weight stack.
How to use
- Stand perpendicular to or facing the column depending on the exercise, gripping the attachment with both hands.
- For a pallof press: stand perpendicular, hold the handle at your chest, then press it straight out, resisting the pull rotating you toward the column.
- For a woodchop: set the pulley high or low, pull the cable diagonally across your body while rotating the hips and shoulders.
- Control the cable as it returns to start; do not let the weight stack slam.
Safety notes
- Check the weight pin is fully seated and the pulley height pin is locked into its slot before pulling hard.
- Brace the core and keep a stable stance; don't let the cable's rotational pull throw off your balance.
- Control the cable in both directions; don't let it snap back toward you.
- If you run out of strength mid-set, guide the handle back toward the column under control until the stack settles, and only then let go; never release the handle while the cable is still under tension.
