Battle Rope Station
How to adjust
- Choose the anchor-point distance — standing closer or farther changes the rope's tension and wave length.
- Choose the rope thickness/length if multiple ropes are available.
How to use
- Stand a few steps back from the anchor point in an athletic stance with knees slightly bent, gripping one end of the rope in each hand.
- Whip the ropes up and down (alternating or together) to create waves.
- Keep your core braced and knees soft throughout the set.
Safety notes
- Check the rope's anchor point is securely fastened before you start, since a loose anchor can pull free under the whipping load.
- Keep the space around you clear of other people, since the rope needs a wide swing radius.
- Keep your knees soft and your core braced to protect the lower back through long sets.
- When you fade, let the waves get smaller and set the ends down on the floor; don't just let go while the rope is loaded, since the end can snap back at you.
